Building Your Adaptive Capacity for Everyday Excellence

What if this summer could be about more than vacations, cookouts, and crossing things off your to-do list?

What if it could be the summer you become more resilient, more energized, more focused, and more capable of handling whatever life throws your way?

That’s the goal behind our new webinar series:

Mental Fitness with DocTalbott – Summer of Mental Fitness 2026

Beginning June 4 and continuing every Thursday evening at 7:00 PM ET through early September, we’ll be taking a deep dive into the science and practice of mental fitness.

The world doesn’t seem to be getting any less stressful.

But resilience isn’t about avoiding stress.

It’s about developing the capacity to adapt, recover, and thrive.

That’s where the concept of Adaptive Capacity comes in.

What is Adaptive Capacity?

Adaptive Capacity is your ability to respond positively to challenges, uncertainty, setbacks, and stress.

It is influenced by dozens of interconnected factors, including:

  • Stress regulation
  • Neurotransmitter balance
  • Gut health and the microbiome
  • Immune function
  • Metabolic health
  • Sleep quality
  • Physical fitness
  • Relationships and social connection
  • Purpose and mindset

In other words, Adaptive Capacity is what determines whether life leaves you stronger or exhausted.

Over the course of the summer, we’ll explore the latest science behind these systems and, more importantly, how you can use that information to improve your own mental and physical performance.

Whether you’re a health professional, coach, athlete, entrepreneur, parent, or simply someone who wants to feel their best, this series is designed to provide practical tools that you can begin using immediately.

And for those who want to take the next step, the entire series will build toward our first-ever:
